Lost Boys by Phoebe Bridgers : Well apparently as of this week it's Lost Boys by Phoebe Bridgers. It's a very single single, which either bodes even better for the rest of the album because I often don't like singles (or at least don't like them best), OR it'll be a little too many cooks in the kitchen, based on the long list of cowriting/producing credits, But this one...catchy af and delivering on her usual paired-up culture references and slices of life/people/dynamics.

With a really fun video, too.:

rory · Answer

Luxury Problem - The Lunachicks: I'm listening to Luxury Problem over and over by the Lunachicks because I just saw their documentary, Pretty Ugly (Trailer below). Somehow I missed them in their heyday, which corresponded with my own heyday of falling hard for girl bands (ani, tori, hole, etc.) -- I'm so glad to discover them now. Their influence is impossible to deny (the lead singer, Theo, learned makeup from drag artists and you can totally see reflections of her style in some of today's biggest stars). Highly recommend if you love music.

Judith · Answer

what’s wrong with me - Olivia Rodrigo, ft. Robert Smith: My first listen was for the novelty, my next 3,999,999 were because it’s my favorite song on the latest album.

It’s not like Robert Smith or The Cure went anywhere, but every time he comes in for his verse on this, I sigh in relief and go, “ahh, there you are.” This is such a great collab, I just adore it!
