First of all, what an incredibly fun question and I had a hard time narrowing it down to just one. I think about the set dec in this Rohmer film, particularly Maud's bedroom, on a semi-regular basis as an essential blueprint for designing my own space. The sheepskin blanket, the shelf behind the bed with books, the oversized side table with the lamp and coffee cup...No notes. Plus, Maud was one of my first film crushes.

Outlander: Claire’s Surgery – Ambient Room: The Big House on Fraser’s Ridge in Outlander (Season 5)! I just love all the wood, glass bottles, cupboards, brass instruments, and all the windows in Claire’s surgery, but the whole house was gorgeous. Really all the sets for Outlander were astounding… Castle Leoch (Season 1), Lallybroch (Season 1 and more), The Paris Apartment (Season 2)… It’s a feast for the eyes. Same with the costuming.

Knives Out House: Okay okay I could rec so many movie house interiors but I’m trying to limit myself. The Knives Out mansion fits the movie’s mystery mood perfectly. It gives me Clue vibes. I think it’s gorgeous (especially the study/library); I love houses that seem lived in and have some character.
