I have listened to this countless times on a plethora of occasions to chill out, focus, watch my kid frolic through a park, stare wistfully out a window, cook dinner… you name it, I’ve had this soundtrack on with it.

Karen O and the Kids - Where the Wildthings Are
•••
My love for Karen O knows no bounds, and I'm a sucker for a chorus of kids singing (or really any sort of group chanting in a song - IYKYK). this soundtrack is SO amazing and I used to listen to it often to go to sleep. even without watching the movie, 10/10 recommend giving the album a shot!

Might be my favorite movie. Also an excellent filter to watch with a new person in your life to find out if they are someone who can appreciate silence, quiet beauty, and the peace that comes with living in the moment.

Funny, strange, spiritual, melancholy and completely Southern. The curation is almost academic, it so perfectly accompanies the concept of the film.

Ooh, and this one for sure! Awesome movie (an annual watch in my home), awesome soundtrack that brings together a heap of Mancunian musical geniuses and other UK greats. The only thing it is missing is a sizzle track of Steve Coogan's best lines from the film (god I love that man).
