Let Me Back In - Rilo Kiley
•••

Look Away - Chicago (1988)
•••
This was certainly a popular radio song of its time (or I wouldn’t have heard it!), but whenever it comes on now, I realize I’m the only person I know who still knows every melodramatic word, so. You maybe had to have been a child when it first came out, but it was my first intro to songs that tell a story, and where the story was YEARNING. what’s wrong with me - Olivia Rodrigo, ft. Robert Smith
•••

It’s not like Robert Smith or The Cure went anywhere, but every time he comes in for his verse on this, I sigh in relief and go, “ahh, there you are.” This is such a great collab, I just adore it!
