During a bad health period, I canvassed far and wide to find out everyone’s most beloved pajamas. It was America’s Sweetheart Jennifer Garner- a woman who knows her way around a blueberry buckle AND an action sequence- who said that Roller Rabbit was IT. My mother calls them my “big baby outfit” but they have lasted a good 9 years through consistent wear, tear, love and rage. And who doesn’t want to feel like a big baby sometimes, even though I imagine it’s a slightly more fetching image when J Garner find them. I, for one, have toothpaste caked to my mouth!
These are so lightweight and easy to wear - they also wash and dry like a dream.
Ok so technically these are indeed sweatpants by function, material, and name, BUT it’s the Tibi version, and women ask me where they’re from every time I wear them (no hyperbole!). A friend recommended them to me when I was pregnant, and the nearly-stiff heavy cotton still looks and feels brand new, the nipped ankle is feminine and chic, and the pockets are deep enough for all your needs. I wear with an oversized blazer when I travel. 10/10!
if you have underwear you’d be mortified to be seen in get rid of em immediately. i have never worn a more flattering pair than these cotton ones!!
I stalk the RC Fond resale b/c my midwestern heart quails at paying this much for a sweatshirt, but it is comfortable, sturdy, easy to wear, and, crucially, capable of performing the elusive and much-sought magic trick of levitation, elevating whatever I wear it with into an actual look. Evokes more compliments and inquiries than you night expect.
Note: If you’re 7-9 mos pregnant in October—first, congrats!—second, this is your Halloween costume. Wear a robe from Amazon, linked, and then cop a pair of boxers from J Crew and a ribbed cami. Gold chain. Reply with pics so we can all be re-inspired in the fall.
I bought this to wear under dresses and skirts last year, and it actually, changed how often I wear skirts and dresses. It’s great to sleep in too. 100% cotton, washes well (I put it in the dryer… it says not to, but after a year I can confirm it’s a lie). A warm weather MUST HAVE.
I live in this set all summer long--great together or to mix + match. I'm a huge fan of long sleeves + shorts and this one fits the bill even on the hottest, most humid days, because the seersucker is so light and breathable. I'm obsessed. You can save 10% with FEWERBETTER10.
Every one of my nightgowns has a personality, and this one is a curious wandering girl in 1998 who likes to go backpacking alone in Asia! The Brokedown Palace of nightgowns.
so cute and breezy and 100% organic cotton!
I’m obsessed with these Lands’ End pajamas, which are the perfect amount of girliness (the ruffles!) while being practical (the seersucker). They should be immortalized in the novel I’m haltingly writing because they are that good.
These are cozy, cool, calming and somehow cinch you in a way that says “at rest but on duty.” I live for Ratboi- it’s adult Delia’s.
This bra is perfect, it’s sold out online but you can get it in person in Newport Beach at aleph🤍
Perfect button down for postpartum nursing, or pajamas to feel put together in during the first few weeks.
Eileen West is the IYKYK classic nightgown brand- while I love fancy pants nightgowns from Doen, If Only If and Magnolia Pearl, these are the OG. They inspired a cottagecore sleep moment (great creative lesson: stay focused on the thing that only you can do, rather than chasing trends, and at some point the culture will fix its eyes on that particular niche and you’ll be ready!) Eileen West also owns Lanz of Salzburg, a company known for its classic Tyrolean styles. Lots of florals, flannel and ruffled collars. This is the new offering that I want to slip into right the hell now.
I love these sweatpants so much I brought them into my store as soon as they became available for wholesale. They are the perfect rise (read: HIGH), they are long, they are not too tight on the ankle. They are rigid enough to hold their shape & not bag out in the butt. I have slept in them. I have shoveled snow in them. I have watched many a movie in them. WINNERS.
This 50% cotton 50% linen robe is exactly what you want to wrap yourself in when you get out of a hot shower. The perfect self-care gift.
I wear these every day
My favorite sweatpants--lightweight, warm, and the narrow cut makes them as flattering as sweatpants can be.
These Indian Cotton pajamas are feather-light and come in lots of pretty patterns.
Nothing can come between me and a long short
