There is a specific t-shirt I remember borrowing from my high school boyfriend; weighty, almost sweatshirt-like, but just a touch lighter. It was perfection, and it has been reborn as the Comfort Colors heavyweight long sleeve tee. A rainbow of colors + a non-appalling price.
I ❤ bootleg merch and so does the creator of this Web 1.0 site! In their own words: "With the NBA Finals here I've been seeing so many cool designs online every day. This is my little corner of the web to keep track of it all." Kind of Rec League coded honestly.
The coolest hand printed Tees for the art hoes (said with the utmost affection) in your life
the cost of shipping this to me would be more than the tee itself but i hope one of you buys this! PS thank u fellow rec leaguers for putting me onto this artist <3
I have to explain?
I love giving a t shirt a second life. Some people like cutting big arm holes, mank-style. I prefer a simple shoulder cap, so I cut the sleeve on an angle. When you crop, cut slightly shorter than you think you should!
I’m not the only girl on Substack to announce that this is a wonderful t-shirt, but I am possibly the oldest! I have it in four colors and it never doesn’t do its job.
Merch from a local restaurant. I enjoy focaccia and I enjoy being a DILF. The lettering is made of dough, obviously!
This rec. isn't very chic, I know. But this Old Navy version surprisingly has the perfect boxy/slightly cropped fit, a neck opening that isn't too wide (very important to me), %100 cotton, and is a good weight. Not to mention it's cheap as hell so you can get a few for probably less than the price of one from a fancier brand. I try to avoid fast fashion but I simply cannot spend a bunch of money on a white tee that is so prone to stains and worry about babying it when I wash it. Sometimes they are on sale for like $5. I am typically a size 4 and I went with the XS (think they run a little big). The model photos don't do the fit justice.
A hear A LOT of people asking for, even begging for a solid resource for actually 'elevated basics'. Sunspel would probably be my pick for these people. It's a 'luxury' British clothing brand founded in 1860, made famous for inventing the modern boxer short, creating some of the world's first luxury T-shirts, and producing the Riviera polo worn in James Bond films. Extremely consistent, nothing outrageously priced and widely available.
Just bought these for my husband and they are really good.
Perfection. Need.
Stealth Cure merch.
I love every part of this movie so much but especially how Catherine Martin cradles Precious after she’s been rescued 😭🐶 ps did you know the actress Brooke Smith recently released a fabulous book of her photographs of the 1980s NY punk scene? Snoopy is my favorite athlete
I really need this in my life
Self explanatory
Everyone needs a few (or more) plain tees in their arsenal and these are a fave.
Some people will think you’re wearing a shirt with your random aunt’s photo on it, but the Metrograph boys are all gonna nod like “yeah, I see you.”
Where I'm at in tennis, haha.
no caption needed one day…
BAD AF! I've been looking for a tank top like this so if anyone has connections to the 1979 Alien costume dept lmk-- I want it
Great white Ts that are 2 for $15
One of my favorite striped shirts out there (and I've tried a LOT)... just got the news today that KULE is closing their doors!! I'm devastated (and ordered about 10 things so I have a stockpile.) Snag this tee while you still can!
