Never over hearing Night Shift live, and made me appreciate some of her older songs more (how had I never listened closely to Triple Dog Dare before this?) Also glad I came early to see Ratboys, they were great!!! + perfect weather

My entire personality has become telling people to go to the Jersey Shore instead of the Hamptons, but I just love how unpretentious and fun it is. The beaches are super clean, it’s relatively affordable and the north end is only a 90 min train ride from NYC. I like staying in Bradley Beach because there is no scene and that’s the point

Saw Remake at Film Forum and immediately 1) went home and bought a Film Forum membership and 2) came back to see Sherman’s March later in the week. Really love his soft, voyeuristic filmmaking style and the curiosity / lack of direction in his movies’ narratives. He blurs storytelling and reality well

Why is the best taro bun I’ve ever had from an Asian supermarket bakery in Central NJ??? LOOK at the volume of filling! Which is barely sweet + has actual chunks of taro root! Somehow this is $1.95 in the year 2026
