Bulk Pencil Dispenser

Ok, we're obsessed w/ this idea! How fun to store your pencils in this on your desk + dispense them when you want one. Put it back when you're done. Can totally be used in a playroom or art space too for the kiddos. Options are limitless!

HL-L2360DW Monochrome Laser Printer /// Brother

If you want a printer that “just works.” Black and white. Wireless & AirPrint. Toner cartridges that will last years. Over a decade with this bad boi by my side, and nary a hiccup. Hit print for those tickets, directions, or government forms and this thing unceremoniously prints them. And if you do have a paper jam, it’s super simple to pop open and dislodge. But the nicest thing is the toner. Compared to inkjet, toner is the workhorse of the printer world. So if you’re searching for that “no drama” printing life, get yourself this Brother, brutha.

70s French Perpetual Calendar

Perfectly practical pop art. It's also functional and doesn't require batteries or power? Swoon.

Laurie Cambra Seplow

Labour and Wait Legal String

Made in Germany. Used in Germany to seal up notarized documents; each color represents a different administrative area. Wow, do they look good on a present wrapped with kraft paper. 100% Cotton.

Zenith Steel Desk Stapler

You would have it forever.

Dylan

Tiny pink stapler

Just bought this for $5 from my local post office. As shown in this image, it's even cuter next to tiny Dolly toes 🐈‍⬛ Let's be real, tiny versions of regular items make them so much more fun to use 🎀

Mia Locks

Tombow Mounting Putty

Works on literally anything you can dream of!

Business Card Case

I actually have this! It's such a great little card case. It has lasted for forever in the bowels of my purse and still looks just as good as the day I bought it. If you ever run into me IRL ask for a business card and you can see it (or just buy your own haha).

Leigh Patterson

Pink Legal Pads

Very cute option for your scribbles

izzy lynch

90s Bug in Box Pencil Sharpener

I know I have an original somewhere…but maybe it’s time to stock backups.

samael

wire binder clips

geeking about mundane things is the fucking best. if i could go to like a clip manufacturer to audit + tweak their existing designs, that’d be the dream. this brutalist babe can do it all: clip, pinch, bind, be lost and not missed. it’s functional, minimal, and can make a popcorn bag or toothpaste tube look a lil better as you use it like a moron.

Sarah Cooney

Desk Knife in Brass

Maybe if I had a beautiful brass box cutter that looks like art and feels substantial in the hand people WOULD PUT IT BACK WHERE IT CAME FROM.

Vintage Texas Instruments Calculator

Never in a million years would we have guessed to become vintage calculator people. There's something about the tactility and those bright little LED numbers. There are a lot of beloved vintage options but this orange (the best color?) exactra is a certified classic. This is actually the most affordable fully functional one we could find (get mind blown on eBay poking around at vintage calculators for a little while) and can imagine it'll get snapped up quickly.
