Such a fun spin on traditional Halloween decorations!
it's v nearly my birthday, SO!
A coworker showed me this website which has SO MANY vintage halloween decorations and iconography from (at least my) 90’s childhood. They have been in business for over 120 years, and appear to be fighting a good fight against AI slop—at least in their halloween vintage line. Check them out and relive your nostalgic childhood holiday dreams people ✨
Continuing to break my ban on more Halloween Decor. This guy on Etsy from Michigan makes these himself. I got a set of three orange with a remote for my tree and I can't wait.
These might make me cry
In lieu of the real thing, these beautiful terracotta ones can be used year after year.
Block Shop tree skirt.
Elegant
Another client fave that can be used year after year!
not actually planning… not making any real decisions… just getting the wheels turning. looking at wigs for babies. searching blue face paint. taking notes

Felt ornaments. Gotta catch em all.
Heirloom Christmas Star Decorations
These had a moment on twitter years ago and I’m still a fan.
We just put these up in a little girl's room and they were quite magical!
Enough with beige, minimal holidays! Year by year, I’m more drawn to the bright, shiny, gaudy aesthetic of my childhood holidays. Life is short! Let’s have some fun! Tinsel sucks to clean up, but I’m thinking it’s worth it for 6-8 weeks of maximalist sparkle & joy.
Celebrated a bday yesterday that had this, it's a big fire and it is worth it 10/10
I bought a cluster of these different neon mushrooms when they went on sale. The perfect addition for my woodland retro space vibe Christmas tree.
A practice in delayed gratification (HARD for us ADHD shorties) but so worth it. We started making it a point to pick up ornaments whenever we’d travel somewhere we loved regardless of the time of year. Now our tree is such a sweet time capsule that keeps on growing. From hole in the wall local museum, to charming downtown gift shops in new cities, ornaments can be found!
We started the tradition of a birthday ring when my daughter was born. I bought the official candle holders and a few ornaments but I’ve also made ornaments through the years with my trusty glue gun (the real MVP rec) and inexpensive pegs from the craft store. Paint them, dress them up in felt, use them as a base to create something else. I found a small block letter “F” that fit in the hole and glued a mini wooden clothespin to it to hold a photo. There are endless possibilities for whimsical personalization.
