I've loved this architectural detail in homes for at least 20 years. It never gets old, especially if you're in a small space.
Way better than my old plastic folding tables. These would be perfect for the studio, or for dinner parties that need more space than your dining table can hold.
My dear friends and brother-in-law own and operate RAD Furniture in Frogtown, and their new collection with Studio Sam Klemick is just what I want in my studio. Powder-coated steel frames and tie-on upholstery— these would be so fun in an LA garden, too. The pink and red?!
Truly the best portable chair; ours are at least a decade old, good as new + have been used hard everywhere from streetside at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade to the shores of Lake Superior.
I, for one, would be delighted to see this every day!
this is just the prettiest little accent chair that works in a bedroom or living room or office or literally anywhere, and fits into practically any decorating style. it's both structured and soft and has fun details like rounded feet and vintage-inspired patterns (and lots of gorgeous solid colors too). it's not cheap but it'll last ya
I desperately want this martini table (and everything else from this brand).
Need absolutely everything (plus a cool country house to decorate).
Wilkinson & Rivera did all the woodwork in our London home, and the Looney Tunes jiggliness or these chairs is a theme. It looks like all of our built ins are absolutely flipping out. Humor is a luxury item 😝🥰
Vitsoe is an excellent home investment, and it can transform your small bedroom into a whimsical library.
I still think about the collection of English furniture John Derian designed for California-based, best-in-class furniture-maker Cisco Brothers at least once a month. For years it has been so. The petit Baronet chair is what I wish I had in front of our fireplace but instead I have a pile of Legos, alas! I have sat in the adult sized one and it’s the platonic ideal of reading chair.
storage ottomans can be so ugly, but this one isn't!
This is the cabinet hack: We used IKEA inserts (like an easy-bake kitchen) and went to Semihandmade for a more custom “front” of cabinet. The customer service was super helpful and they provided us with toe kicks etc, and the result is the overall look/feel is more polished & elevated.
love all of vince's work but especially the single book 'fortress'.
Your LA dreamgirl ideal armoire. How is this 1940s compact kyōdai-style dressing mirror only $800? Ships from California too! Would be so lovely in a canyon bungalow or old dapple-light craftsman alike.
Would love to see these in an historic home covering an entire wall of the dining room. Damn.
Finding an iron fire pit that's not overwrought or designed to feel "western" is a challenge. Behold this one's simplicity.
Even if you're not in the market for an outdoor set, do yourself a favor and click the link to cycle through these photos. Stunning stuff and in miraculous condition considering its 70+ years of age.
You never saw this limoncello LC2 coming for you…from Bosnia. The price is right!
We used three of these to make a banquette (it was cheaper than buying wood, actually). You can sit on them and store a lot of stuff inside. You can also frame them with wood if there's room in the budget and/or make or buy cushions or even a back panel. They're basically a nice, inexpensive armature that holds a lot of stuff while doing double duty as a seat.
opening bid twenty five hundred dollars.
This 1970s Titina Ammannati & Giampiero Vitelli for Brunati Leather number is among our favorite pieces ever. It looks like bread (hence the name), is light in frame, heavy in comfort and has (swoon alert) removable combo armrest/magazine pockets.
Dream of finding a set of these chairs for my dining room. The little pockets in the back, meant to hold Bibles and hymnals, are perfect for books.
