best t-shirt in the world. fuck a "lady white co." or whatever. It's always been Uniqlo crew neck T. None of the "Airism" BS either. OG crew. Thick fabric, Amazing fit. I have like 6 in white and 3 in black and they make everything better

Can’t beat em. So simple. Durable. Shrink them (or not) to fit how you like. Wear them into a unique fade. Look good with everything.

Flint and Tinder 365 Chino Pant - Slim
These are the only pants I wear. They fit great, work for almost any occasion, and have lasted me nearly a decade.
Somewhere between a dress Chelsea (not my thing) and a blundstone. Roper boot type silhouette but pull on. Can be dressed up, dressed down, surprisingly comfortable for walking, perfect for a travel capsule. Put about 20k steps a day on them in Paris with no issues

There is some sticker shock 💸, but these 100% Hand Brushed Shetland Wool, made in Scotland, sweaters are the real deal. Very comfortable, with a wonderful natural stretch to layer on top of a shirt and/or under a jacket. Great, classic colors and just a few different designs, which screams “Classic” to me. 1 of 3 wool sweaters I pretty much wear all season, making the cost per wear pretty reasonable.

A hear A LOT of people asking for, even begging for a solid resource for actually 'elevated basics'. Sunspel would probably be my pick for these people. It's a 'luxury' British clothing brand founded in 1860, made famous for inventing the modern boxer short, creating some of the world's first luxury T-shirts, and producing the Riviera polo worn in James Bond films. Extremely consistent, nothing outrageously priced and widely available.

These are durable thick shirts that are good for all seasons. I bought the navy blue colorway about 5 years ago and it’s faded beautifully that it would be a holy grail if found at a thrift store.

Ralph Lauren menswear is the greatest of all time. Give me all the Oxford shirts. Shout out to the menswear writer (at GQ?) who alerted me to the fact that their Boys “Big Kids” XL is a Men’s S but cheaper.

Tried and true - 501s can’t be beat for price / comfort. Might be a little slim for women but try it out! Also, lots of vintage stores carry these in various styles / years - can always try your luck
