Leave it to the commercial fisherman to recommend the best gear. If it's good enough to handle the raging sea, it's good enough for me... Purchased the mens because I felt like it, it works out because it's roomier to fit a sweatshirt underneath, because it's not very warm!

Norwegian Rain - Waterproof Outerwear
T-Michael makes gorgeous raincoats and outerwear! They are pricey but occasionally you can find a used NR garment online (I’m keeping an eye out for one for myself). The storefront in Bergen (an exceptionally rainy city) is very stylish and calm.

The best of the best. I live in the pacific northwest so a good raincoat is a must. We don't really do umbrellas here and I call this my "standing around watching kids sports" raincoat.
