LL Bean’s Wicked Good slippers
The floor is always cold when you’re living over water. These slippers keep your tootsies toasty. I get a new pair every five years or so when I start to wear bare spots in the shearling.

I have beef with most slippers: I was a frequently shoeless child, my feet get sweaty really quick, and I just don't see the need for them most of the time. At least I didn't until I got my first pair of Gripper Slippers. Like the name suggests, they're nice little sock-slippers with grippy bottoms. They somehow never make my feet sweaty and they come in fun colors (even a Marvel collab!) I love packing these for hotel trips or when I'm visiting family and they're honestly a great gift for older folks with cold feet. Or young people with hot feet. They even come in kids sizes! I love the Gripper Slipper!

They last forever, go from summer (barefoot) to winter (socks), and are easy to clean (hose em down).

i am a strict take-your-shoes-off when you get in the house person. But I love my indoor shoes. These are shoes that never leave my apartment and only exist for inside. And no, they aren’t slippers. They are specifically these Rothy mules and I don’t know what I would do without them.

Some love them, some hate them, but one cannot deny: these are what the astronauts wore in space. They’re absolutely awesome. My mom bought me a pair when I was 16 and I’ve had them ever since. Super cozy, super durable, super cool company lore.

My house shoe, though my actual pair are red. These save me on my old house’s drafty hardwood floors.

I buy a new pair every couple of years. They are my indoor shoe. My floors are concrete so I need a lot of support. I still feel chic wearing them because they’re leather. Don’t make my feet sweat, and I can wear socks with them without a fear of them stretching out. They often have sales on seasonal colors.

Been rockin these pups for I don’t even KNOW how long and man, my little piggies are always cozy in these. Not too expensive and so worth it. They last forever!

These are the best. If I am in my house these are on my feet. They are warm in the winter but don’t make me sweat in the summer. They aren’t cushioned but I prefer that. Perfect to me

Adult Fireside Sheepskin Slippers
I work a desk job in our basement and the floor is cold in the winter but it’s not a factor with these puppies. And somehow my feet aren’t unbearably hot when I then wear them upstairs where the temperatures are humane? Some kind of magic. I live in them all winter. They also make a rubber-soled version.

I recommend ones that, like these from Muji, are made from cotton (for better moisture-wicking without risking mildew) and have a hard sole (for dorm hallways).

I call them my "indoor shoes" : they look really chic (they're French, so of course), feel so good (the insole are made of virgin wool) and last for years given the quality. Overall love this brand, I have pairs for every season (can we invent more seasons so I can expend my collection please ?!)

I love my Baggu slippers and they’re very on sale right now! Easy to wash, simple to slide on and off. Not the grippiest but they do the trick for me. Perfect amount of fluff for comfort without feeling like I’m wearing shoes.

i've tried many a slipper and these are by far my favorite in function (they don't make my feet too sweaty) and style (they are bright and pop around the house!!!)

These are ugly sandals. BUT....they are unbelievably comfy. My favorite house slippers! Better yet, they've cured me of foot neuropathy! I will never NOT have a pair!

halfway between a slipper and a sock. really a sock that performs the job of a slipper. squishy soft with grippy bits on the bottom. the comfiest ever.

Draper Sheepskin Boot Slippers
A gift from my sister in dark brown these have become essential around the house wear. The wool has already shaped nicely to my feet and they haven't worn at all considering they are 4 months of solid wear in, seems good. They are cosy though so, maybe not for summer? tbd.
