This is the best housewarming gift. The forks are actually useful and they are cute. Sets are cheap on Etsy or eBay. Mixed sets are even better, and even cheaper.

A Ceramic Ristra Housewarming Gift
If you are lucky to live in a southwestern/southwestern adjacent state (as I do in Colorado), you know that chile ristras are meant to welcome outsiders to your home and represent abundance. Chile ristras can be hard to ship afar, so may I suggest a ceramic ristra to carry that sentiment into a friend’s faraway housewarming! Honestly: everyone needs a new kitchen towel, and consumables are something you can't have too many of. This is a great gift for people you don't know well, or people who have everything. If they (or you!) aren't alcohol drinkers, a fancy bottle of olive oil or duo of nice jams subs well!

I have a money tree in my apartment. Someone gifted it to me and explained it is intended to bring luck and prosperity around finances. Now whenever a friend opens a business, or sometimes even on birthdays I will gift them a money tree and pass it on.

a perfect gift! its even engraveable! we were gifted the no. 10 skillet a couple years ago and have gotten SO much use out of it. the surface is smoother which apparently makes it easier to clean and take care of, but my favorite part is how big it is. i'd argue that its size makes cleaning much harder (it's HEAVY) but you really can get a lot done with this amount of surface area.

My go to gift concept is “something this person would use, but a fancier version than they’d buy for themselves” - think nice olive oil, maldon salt, nice vinegar, a fun chili crisp, rancho Gordo beans… clearly I am friends with people who like to cook, but that concept has never steered me wrong!

It really is better than all the other juicers
I moved from TX to CA last year and honestly, all I wanted to do was get rid of stuff. Personally, a gift card for food delivery (I forgot how much you have to eat out when you move!) or a homewarming gift you send for their arrival would be ideal. 🚚
