I try not to go off registry, but when I want to get a unique wedding gift, I always end up at Porta. This is really nice for a regular host or a gardener who likes to clip stems.

We put 12 sets of this pottery on our wedding registry 15+ years ago and still have every single plate, bowl, and serving platter. They are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe and a little less expensive than some other potters. The core colors are a bit limited but they have seasonal glazes fairly often. Pictured are the rimmed soup / pasta bowls.

10000% worth it. I’ve had my pans for 5 years now and they are in great shape. The easiest pans to cook with and clean. (As long as you follow the care instructions, they should last long enough to justify the investment.)
