Niche request but does anyone have any estate sale etiquette tips? Or the most efficient transport system (basket/box/ large tote) for hauling items around while you shop? A Hulken seems unwieldy… maybe those collapsible crates?

I have something similar to this. I saw a guy at an estate sale with one of these drag mesh river bags and it looked cool as hell. I’ll check the brand of mine. I use mine for travel and though not intended use, I love how it breathes.

Bankers Box Medium Classic Moving Box 8 Pack

Welcome to my niche! So, there isn’t one answer to this question because estate sales vary WIDELY in how they handle things. Some have very strict rules (like no purses or even fanny-packs) and others treat it like a free-for-all. My routine: I start collecting what I want and then ask where the HOLD TABLE is. That’s where you keep your items so you can browse more. Sometimes the staff will offer you a box, or you might just come across one that’s at the sale. I’ve been known or to find a laundry basket or box that’s for sale, fill it with my items, and then tell them I don’t want the basket when I check out. It’s never a problem. But bankers boxes are the best thing and I always keep them in my car. You can also bring the banker’s box in and ask permission to use it, they almost always say yes.
