Kienze Wallpaper by Harlequin: We used this in a corner of our bedroom - cool, refreshing, calm, but still fun because of how it plays with scale.

Jess · Answer

York Malta wallpaper: We have this delightful paper in our upstairs hall. It’s easy to decorate with, since you can pick up so many colors from it. I also love that the gold accents are metallic and shiny!

Liz · Answer

Bridal Pink paint by Benjamin Moore: My parents' good friend was a house painter and artist, and she swore by this color. It looks almost white in daylight, but at night it takes on a warm, cozy hue. We used it for our living and dining rooms, and I love it. It keeps the space warm without being overpowering.

KG · Answer

Bellagio mural wallpaper from Glamora.it: I put this up in our primary bedroom after feeling stuck for many years and it is so so SO luxurious. I never want to be anywhere else except in my bedroom with the dogs now. We have since changed the lamps to brass ceiling-mounted sconces and changed the wall and ceiling color to SW keystone grey

KG · Answer

Sherwin Williams Mega Griege: We’ve had this color in almost all rooms of our house (except the kitchen and bathrooms) for 8 years now. The first five years I think I painted the rooms at least 4 times in colors that weren’t quite right. I actually love the feeling so much that I went a few shades deeper on the swatch to keystone grey to color wash the primary bedroom. It is pure heaven, I don’t care if people say griege is outdated. It makes me so happy, and I’m a big-time Taurus who loves feeling grounded in my sanctuary and also went to art school.

Color drench with multiple textures: To wow in a space like the hallway or dining room, stick to a pallet and mix different pattern/texture. We used three wall coverings in our hallway: House of Hackney Zeus wallpaper in Carob, with Phillip Jeffries Cork in Bordeaux on the ceiling, and Rojo Marron from Sheron Williams on the ceiling. In progress… but my favorite part of my house!

Samplize: This isn’t a paint color, BUT once you narrow down, order samples from Samplize - they’re large, re-stickable stickers with the actual paint color (not the chip approximation). Move them around your room to see how different light affects the color. Bonus is not having to paint swatches yourself!

Elena · Answer

Van Deusen Blue by Benjamin Moore: It went on a little darker than I expected when we chose it but so cozy for a bedroom and people often compliment it

Elena · Answer

Bewitched by Benjamin Moore: Answering my own question because I wanted to contribute this color which is moody and rich and leathery until the sun hits and makes it glow with warmth. Painted the walls of our office/spare bedroom this color and cant stop thinking about going full color drench with it on the trim, doors, and ceiling…

Elizabeth Reese · Answer

Salamander | Benjamin Moore: We painted our dining room this color to give it a cozy, romantic, vibe. Almost everyone who sets foot in our home compliments this color, and I never regret the choice—even though it’s dark. It’s beautiful during the daytime and at night it’s really vibey.

Sealligator · Answer

Farrow and Ball Calke Green: I painted my (east facing) bedroom ceiling this color (seen here on a rainy afternoon) and love it

Nikki F. · Answer

Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee: A warm, soothing white ish. Goes great with warm wood tones. My current house has it on every wall (but I did 75% strength to mellow it a bit). My old house, which had a lot more wood trim, I did at full strength. Feels great in morning/afternoon light. Learned about it from Lauren Liess (my fave designer) and haven’t looked back. (Note that this is very different from the paint of the same name at sherwin Williams. Not the same at all!)

Jess · Answer

Gentleman’s grey: In my living room. Bright but moody. I want more of it in my house. Paired with coral and grey accents.

Morrigan · Answer

Benjamin Moore Apollo Blue: A really nice blue for trim or for walls. I used it here in our center hall (pictured) and on the upstairs trim.

Rob · Answer

Sherwin-Williams Smart White: our house ‘neutral’. warms and cools depending on time of day. sometimes pink, sometimes grey, sometimes just white.

Ashlie · Answer

Benjamin Moore Jackson Tan: Like a warm hug, especially in a sunny space with lots of wood.

Emilie Bienvenew · Answer

Belton Scenic Pavilion Wallpaper (Littlegreene): Installed this wallpaper in one of our toilets and it makes this little room feel special, cosy and stylish. Of course the parrots all have names now.

Little greene has really nice options to fit your taste. Before ordering, I highly recommend to order a sample to see the print in real life (the pictures are sometimes hard to capture the details) - given the price, you want to be sure to be amazed for the years to come.

Zoe Det · Answer

Behr Sunflower: Everyone is suggesting off whites but let me advocate for BOLD paint colors!!! I have lived with Behr Sunflower in 2 different bedrooms. When the sun hits it the room glows! Photo from when I was still moving in a long time ago.

JV · Answer

White Dove By Benjamin Moore (my bff): I know how hard it is to pick white paint. It’s probably the hardest decision I made in my early thirties. The interior of our home is White Dove by Benjamin Moore. I tell all my friends to add it to their swatch list. It’s soft and warm. Plus, we can always do touch ups because it’s economic and easy to pick up at Home Depot.

JDJ · Answer

SW Shoji White: I’ve used this many times for a warm white. Currently using it in my bedroom. I get it made with Benjamin Moore paint though, because I don’t love the SW paint quality.

Sophia Lucchesi · Answer

Dorothy Draper’s Braziliance: A classic wallpaper print that makes me feel like I’m in Palm Springs every time I pop into my bathroom (and yes, that’s my bathroom!).

Maggie Mallette · Answer

Benjamin Moore cashmere: This reads exactly as yellow as I want it to in my sunlight filled kitchen! Makes me happy every day and never makes my head hurt. Also in our nursery.

Catherine Davis · Answer

Lake August Nasturtium wallpaper: Wallpapered my bedroom in this and it’s like waking up in a garden every morning.

Lily · Answer

Sherwin Williams White Flour: What if your warm white was actually very very very light brown? It’s a stellar white for the challenge of spaces with multi-directional sun exposure. My row house runs east-west, and I needed something that does well in both early morning and late afternoon bright sun. Goes with everything.

Katie · Answer

Benjamin Moore Tissue Pink: Yes it’s pink but it matches both neutrals and the navy/mustards/poppy color pops that were in our bedroom. Not millennial pink, not ballerina pink, but fun and versatile!

Veronica · Answer

Daydream CSP-615 (Benjamin Moore): Great for a room with lots of light! Definitely open the link for a better view.

Madge Home · Answer

Dimity Farrow and Ball: theeee perfect warm neutral. btw the color equivalent in Benjamin Moore is called First Crush. Rosy whites look amazing under candlelight and during sunny days. Painted my bedroom this and I looove it so much.

Maggie Knight · Answer

Benjamin Moore Love & Happiness: We’ve lived with this color in our bedroom for nine years and I would do it again in a heartbeat. It’s the perfect warm to cool ratio and it just makes a room glow in peachy pink hues. It’s not for everyone but it’s definitely for me!

Elizabeth · Answer

Filmy Green by Sherwin Williams: We painted our north-facing kitchen/dining room in filmy green. I enjoy watching it transform from green to blue to grey green as the sun moves. Such a soothing shade and the name is so absurd that the SW clerk didn’t think it was real.

Michael Bolognino · Answer

Chippendale Rosetone by Ben Moore: It’s a chameleon-like pink that feels so good to sit in, and ranges from dusty to saturated throughout the day (and avoids the dreaded “Millenial” shade). It also has an incredible name.

Sarah Beck · Answer

C.F.A. Voysey Apothecary's Garden Wallpaper: We reno'd our house in 2021 and 5 years later this wallpaper in our tiny kids' bathroom brings me endless joy. It was designed in 1926! It has so many surprises hidden in there! Tile is the Subway Ceramics line from Heritage Tile, I think they go great together :)
