Blacker's Bakeshop Cinnamon Horn: Chewy, bouncy layers of dough with cinnamon sugar baked all melty in between, plus some kind of magical cinnamon sugar topping. These are my favorite pastry in the world, and if there's any other bakery that makes them I haven't found it yet. The good news is that if you call in a large enough order, they'll ship it to you.

Coconut Donut in Koh Lipe: His little song gets stuck in my head to this day, and my husband and I  visited Koh Lipe in 2018 😂 I don’t know what these little donuts could be described as. Like a hot, chewy mochi-like treat. Take me back!

Monkey Bread: Perhaps niche but in a midwestern, "made off the pillsbury biscuit can" recipe way, but the truest and dearest to my heart bake. My family (now and in my own childhood) has made this every Christmas morning. Kids cut up the dough with scissors and roll the bits in cinnamon and sugar, and then it gets eaten in bits over the course of the day. I've tried making "fancier" from scratch versions, but pillsbury can is the way.
