Incredible sandwich shop. Every friday they have a special sandwich that pretty much always slaps. great place to buy wine and shoppy shop treats too. A k-town gem that can't be missed!!!

I had this for the first time yesterday and it was pretty outstanding bbq, especially for LA. the only downside is you have to go to the Brentwood country mart and get stared down by scary rich Brentwooders but worth it for the chicken thank you to @Evan McAvenia for the discovery

Honestly a bit reluctant to share because I have been keeping this one for a few years, but DGM is worth bringing to Rec League. It’s sort of like Dan Sung Sa’s better, cooler, less TikTokky older sister. Amazing happy hour. Great soju. Very solid bar food. Indoor and outdoor spaces (that are packed and super energetic most nights). And… karaoke. I mean come on!!! Great for a night with friends, great for a date, just perfect all around.

Huge Tree Pastry is the perfect Saturday morning excursion for breakfast. Cash only spot in the SGV for comforting Taiwanese baked goods and dishes, this place is one of my all time favs. Get the purple rice fan Tuan with eggs and pickles!!!!!

I won’t keep this secret any longer: this is one of the best grocery stores in Los Angeles. Good produce, reasonable prices, and a perfect deli. Personal favorites: stuffed grape leaves, rolled eggplant with sour cream dill and pomegranate seeds, and their priyanik cookies. I miss Eastern Europe

DGM is like Dan Sung Sa that isn’t overrun by tik tokers. They have a rippin happy hour and very solid Korean gastropub food. it’s a perfect place to drink and be merry and smoke a shit ton of cigarettes because their courtyard feels a lot like the ruins bars in Budapest. To me, that is beautiful. If you get drunk enough, they have karaoke there too.
