Hands down just the best jarred salsa around. I pack jars into my checked luggage to bring back to Stockholm when we visit our family California, and it's definitely worth an order if you can't find it near you. A delightful host gift paired with your favorite bag of chips.

Sqirl Sorrel Pesto

Sqirl's sorrel rice bowl is still, maybe 15 years after I first had it, a top 3 dish for me. But above that, the sorrel pesto itself is worth tracking down (or growing! it's a great shade friendly container plant!) sorrel to make, and the big secret is that it's good on nearly everything that needs a hit of green brightness. I love it on avocado toast, topping salmon, or spooned into lentil soup, and fill my freezer with it every late summer and fall.

The best brunch dish, as it's meant to be made the night before and just needs baking off in the morning. Can be endlessly modified to different flavor profiles. I tend to modify a variety of recipes, but this one is a solid base. Always a hit!

Yes, it's worth your time to make the whole salad. But it's also worth (less of) your time to just make the dressing and pour it on a bag of prewashed mixed baby lettuces. So good. The only vinegrette you need.
