Sqirl Sorrel Pesto

Sqirl's sorrel rice bowl is still, maybe 15 years after I first had it, a top 3 dish for me. But above that, the sorrel pesto itself is worth tracking down (or growing! it's a great shade friendly container plant!) sorrel to make, and the big secret is that it's good on nearly everything that needs a hit of green brightness. I love it on avocado toast, topping salmon, or spooned into lentil soup, and fill my freezer with it every late summer and fall.
