Get the bar pie. (Thin, crispy, perfect.) Get a side of ranch. (The BEST ranch to EVER exist and I'm nawt being hyperbolic.) They share a space with Inner Voice Brewing and if you want to check all the boxes of your life, get the Cold Slice on draft (comes in a frosted mug). Also worth noting: the bathroom is designed to be a ✨zen space✨. Color-blocked with ambient music and honestly heaven for ambivert gorlies like me who love to go to the bathroom for a break from the energetic noise of public spaces. In Decatur! Worth a lil drive if you're visiting and able!

Get ready for your life to change. Rice and beans have never. Thank you, chickens, for your sacrifice. Pollo Primo is worth the sometimes treacherous drive down Moreland, I promise. Get it to go. Take it to the park. (Also get a frozen marg to go with a hibiscus floater because you have earned it.) Bring a hundred napkins or whatever and eat with your hands and smile with your heart.

If you only had time for one dinner in Atlanta, this would be where I'd tell you to go. Probably make reservations if you can. This is the best of Atlanta. Best people, best food, best neighborhood, best street (I don't even live in Cabbagetown anymore and I'll still say as much). I love this restaurant and every single thing on their menu. The frozen ginger marg kept me alive this summer. The egg roles are like nothing you've ever had before. The tomatotini + espresso martini are the tastiest tinis you'll ever try. The biscoff cake would make it on my "last supper list" if I had such a thing. There's no place like Jen Chan's.

THE BEST WINGS YOU'LL EVER HAVE. It's a situation. You usually have to get there early on days they serve them and expect to stand in line for quite some time and sometimes they still run out and you curse the influencers who shared this local treasure on TikTok (wait — am I being them now?). Anyway, when you taste these wings you will understand and it will be worth the adventure. Bring a friend (obvi) and stand in line and have a human conversation for once.

Arguably my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. The New Tokyo IS my favorite cocktail of all time. I've yet to try a better crème brûlée. You can't go wrong with anything here.
