Jes“Endlessly riff-able! I like to chop and sauté an onion in the pot (plus any other veg I need to use up) before adding the grains and liquid. Also adding a spoon of Better Than Bouillon or using broth instead of water adds a ton of flavor. A splash of vinegar and hot sauce at the end is also excellent.”
