“My most-used kitchen/bread baking tool, and one that I invented (by accident) a few years ago. Think of it like a dough whisk, but scaled down to fit into the small containers of sourdough starter that many home bakers work with. It mixes very efficiently and cleans up in seconds under running water. (They are also useful for stirring peanut butter and tahini, by the way.) I make them myself, using hardwood handles fabricated in Maine. I wouldn't make this my first Rec, except everyone I've given or sold one to loves theirs. I should probably save and compile all the feedback I've gotten from the thousands I have sold so far, but here's an example that was easy to find: "Just wanted to tell you the sourdough starter whisk is just the best thing ever! Thanks so much!"”
