Vanessa“I feel like I’m telling a big secret by recommending this but truly it’s the best show on TV I think. Irreverent, hilarious, creative, low-stakes British humour. 💘 and they stream it for free on YouTube!”

Michaela“This is one of my absolute favourite comfort watch shows. It's so silly, and while it can be sharp and witty, it never punches down. It is truly a joy to watch, and I've discovered so many comedians that I now love via Taskmaster.”

anna“Hard to describe but there’s a reason this show has 20+ seasons and versions in several countries. High rewatch value. 5 charming comedians (new batch each series/season) do pointless tasks (puzzles and sillies galore). My favorite is the show opener task where each contestant has to bring a prize that fits a different prompt each episode (worst cup, bumpiest thing, most embarrassing possession…) the winner of the episode takes the haul. The original British is great and I absolutely love the New Zealand version. Zero stakes, just fun.”

Some have delighted in the opportunity to make absolute fools of themselves in tasks like “Fill the cup on the podium” (the podium being a tall pole)or to torment Taskmaster Assistant little Alex Horne in well…as many tasks as possible. From its absolute chaos to the surprisingly heartwarming connection made by contestants, this is my comfort show. Catch it on YouTube.”

danielle elyce hirsch“My 11 year old son and I enjoy Taskmaster so much. The formula is deeply unserious, joyful, and impish. It has been such a fun discovery for us to enjoy together!”
Andrea“Especially series 19 - such fun chemistry among the cast members. JV Martzoukas forever💗”
Stephanie“It’s a little naughty, but the inside jokes my nine-year-old and I share from watching this goofy British game show together (walking around the house like Bridget Christie, “it’s okay because we have the same juice” every time we share a drink or an ice cream cone) far outweigh whatever innuendos she might be absorbing. Plus, I’ve rarely laughed as hard while trying to pretend I wasn’t laughing as when I heard my 5yo call the granola bar she couldn’t open a prick.”
