Taskmaster

Adult silliness in its purest form. Watch when you need a dose of life-affirming hilarity. This show has introduced me to some of my favorite comedians (Tim Key, James Acaster, Aisling Bea) and is a perfect gateway drug into the world of British comedy. All 22 UK seasons available (for free!) on YouTube, as are the excellent Danish, New Zealand, and Australian versions. Your time starts now.

One of my favourite shows ever. I’ve watched it from the beginning and was lucky enough to be in the audience for one of the live shows before I moved to Canada! (Sings ‘I’m always seeing you do cool stuff’ and ‘Tree wizarrrrd’)

“I feel like I’m telling a big secret by recommending this but truly it’s the best show on TV I think. Irreverent, hilarious, creative, low-stakes British humour. 💘 and they stream it for free on YouTube!”

“Season 19 (or “series” 19 as they call it 🇬🇧) with Jason Mantzoukas is gold!”
