Taskmaster
Hard to describe but there’s a reason this show has 20+ seasons and versions in several countries. High rewatch value.
5 charming comedians (new batch each series/season) do pointless tasks (puzzles and sillies galore). My favorite is the show opener task where each contestant has to bring a prize that fits a different prompt each episode (worst cup, bumpiest thing, most embarrassing possession…) the winner of the episode takes the haul. The original British is great and I absolutely love the New Zealand version. Zero stakes, just fun.

“Adult silliness in its purest form. Watch when you need a dose of life-affirming hilarity. This show has introduced me to some of my favorite comedians (Tim Key, James Acaster, Aisling Bea) and is a perfect gateway drug into the world of British comedy. All 22 UK seasons available (for free!) on YouTube, as are the excellent Danish, New Zealand, and Australian versions. Your time starts now.”

“I feel like I’m telling a big secret by recommending this but truly it’s the best show on TV I think. Irreverent, hilarious, creative, low-stakes British humour. 💘 and they stream it for free on YouTube!”
