I listened to it and then started re-listening as soon as it was over. Meg Josephson does a fantastic job describing how the "fawn response" operates in daily life and easily takes over a person's inner world. Her discussions on boundaries, mindfulness, and self-compassion land in a way that sticks. Enjoy!”

How to stop battling yourself even when you see the "negative" parts that you want to get rid of and restructure the narrative that you've built for yourself. Although I think everyone can get a lot from this, I highly recommend if you come from a particularly chaotic background. I highly recommend the audio book for this one which is narrated by the author. She speaks her words so naturally while being very comforting.”
