“Koami Shrine is one of Tokyo's most famous "power spots," and I went here recently to do a little money washing (銭洗い弁天) because washing your money at the well in this shrine supposedly leads to wealth and fortune. I saw a lady washing her credit cards haha. This shrine was also founded in 1466 and survived the WWII air raids despite the surrounding area being devastated, which makes it the only remaining prewar wooden shrine in Nihonbashi. Truly a special place. As seen in: An afternoon in Ningyōchō 🍠”
