“The last time we tried to eat at Yoshoku Yoshikami 洋食 ヨシカミ, we decided to eat elsewhere because the wait was over an hour. We recently attempted for a second time and decided to wait the 60 minutes for a chance to eat at this Asakusa institution. Asakusa is known for yōshoku 洋食 or westernized food because it was a main cultural hub after the war during the Meiji Restoration. Yoshoku Yoshikami 洋食 ヨシカミ has been around since 1951 and really feels like a pillar of the neighborhood. The person who I assumed was the current owner was so friendly and making conversation with all the diners, asking where we're from and always making sure our water glasses were full. Such a special spot!”
