It gave me perspective & helped keep the thing I love from becoming something I resented, which is everything. The way it’s written in stream of consciousness is so engaging & I’ve adopted a few philosophies from it. Things about looking at all angles, scrapping ideas, how to really nurture the good ones, & how to accept the process in order to continue on & keep it going the length of a career. Longevity is rare in creative fields & it’s a gift to learn ways to keep that shit going. I love diving into some of the ideas late night with cocktails & friends, it always sparks such good conversation. I’ve given copies to people I love & it’s just such a good book. Highly recommend.”
