“This cookbook is out of print - and strangely enough some of the best ones are - proof that cookbook publishing has a side of BS, but I digress. A few of my favorite recipes: Ham Hock & Cabbage Soup (cabbage forever); hot chocolate (THE ONLY HOT CHOCOLATE RECIPE IMO); the egg on focaccia Sammie, and so many others. Furthermore, this and the DIMES cookbook are the only “restaurant cookbooks” I trust and cook from. All others feel like a legacy box checked. Though please write me with other restaurant cookbooks you like…would love to be proven wrong. Find a copy and enjoy.”
