Finch: Self-Care Pet

“Finding the balance of which daily tasks to choose takes some iteration, but taking care of my little finch has built up new habits (dishes done each night, making my bed) and for timing the infrequent tasks (cleaning fridge) that I might otherwise forget to do! My partner and I use it to challenge ourselves and it’s been such a sweet, low pressure self improvement regimen.”

You can send cheery daily support to your friends, or if your friends are sullen and/or uncool and/or don’t have the app your bird will send you encouraging tweets! (See what I did there) They recently added a “daily quiz” feature that is essentially a low stakes lunchtime poll for your friends (“what’s your ideal style of hangout?) which makes the quizilla-devouring tween in me smile.
