samaelFirst to rec“helps to be good bout feeling emotions till they're familiar. started by ex Pinterest peeps + Yale’s Center for Emotional Intelligence. i think their branding and balance of color + shapes + photo/video help things feel more accessible. private/safe/quiet but still friendly. their app has a neat interaction when selecting an emotion + where you feel it in your body. very much learning by doing + exploration + practice. a great way to stay in tune with self. and to see + feel progress over time. and yes you can actually feel calm in your left knee. maybe, i dunno, try harder? listen to your teachers and therapists instead.”

D“This has been the most useful and supportive app that I learned about on rec league. I use it everyday and it helps me to name and track my feelings with more precision. The aesthetic is compelling but not cheesy which encourages me to keep using it. Thanks @samael!”

Olga K.“Learned about this app from a therapist this week. If you have a hard time identifying feelings this might be a great resource. You get a long list of feelings organized by four groups, High Energy Unpleasant, High Energy Pleasant, Low Energy Unpleasant, Low Energy Pleasant. You can also indicate where in your body you feel a certain sensation like your chest might be tight, or numbness in your hands etc.”

quinn“i use How We Feel because i HATE mood tracking apps, i don't want AI features (they have it but you have to enable it) and i loathe being advertised to. there's no subscription, there's no premium version and the ui is fairly intuitive (in my opinion). i can't praise it enough and it's the only mood tracking app i've consistently been able to use”
