Aerøskøbing: Had a magical visit to this island in Denmark - amazing Airbnb host who made me a fish dinner, biked around the whole island and had lunch at the local brewery, beautiful coastal views, a church with miniature ships hanging from the ceiling… so worth it!

And in the Stockholm archipelago, take a boat through the islands and have a meal at Svartsö Krog.

Drive 45-minutes to the Coast. Stay at Helenekilde Badehotel, a walk from Tisvilde shops. Then, spend the day visiting fishing towns and croissant-hunting in hamlets on the beach.

Landet Stay: 7 cabins on a nature preserve in Sweden. Affordable if you split (2BR cabins), beautiful design, they stock the fridge so you can make your breakfast. No administrative building or restaurant. Makes you want to make a Bergman movie. An hour and a half south of Stockholm with water access to the 55,000 island archipelago. You gotta travel far for that kinda peace and quiet.
