Cal Newport Deep Work and Slow Productivity principles

A little different from some of the other suggestions, but I've appreciated his advice on slow productivity and deep work, not giving in to the relentless system machine but actually producing meaningful work in balance with a meaningful life. Some gems: time blocking, multilevel planning for work and life throughout the year, retraining focus, end of day shutdown. You don't necessarily need to buy the books; certain early podcast episode cover these well.

P.S. it's free for most people through a local library or university affiliation. P.P.S. the sheer number of languages you can learn is astounding. Like Amharic?!
