This movie series has inspired my work through the nuanced themes of madness and survival in a world that no longer cares about the people. Zombie movies such as these are so reflective of bio political issues, and allow us to recognize the illusionistic nature of the society we currently exist within. There are currently 4 movies in this series, with a 5th on the way soon.

This film is from 1988 and highlights the idea that subliminal messaging is prevalent within our society. I liked this movie because it really got me thinking about how systems of control exist all around us.
