Setting intentions for your space
•••
After a day spent deep cleaning the place from top to bottom, I sat on the floor of my empty new apartment in front of this little ad hoc altar, murmuring to myself — saying all the things I wanted this home to become, everything I wanted to happen here, how I wanted it to hold me and the ones I love. I’m so glad I did this little ritual. I think it had a big impact. You can accessorize it as much as you want — fancy candles, flowers, incense, a new journal, a nice meditation cushion. Or you can spend nothing but your time and awareness. Either way, I think it’s a priceless investment for your new home. 🕉️
