Mike D of the Beastie Boys, just came out with some new music. As of now, he’s only released a couple of tracks (or at least that I could find). I don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t what he gave us. I won’t describe it so I don’t rob you of your discovery moment.

Baby Rose has a voice from a different time, place, and galaxy. Listening to her music before seeing what she looked like was a real trip because she sounds like a contemporary of Ella Fitzgerald. I suggest starting with one of her newest singles: Friends Again (with Leon Thomas). Let that be your gateway drug into this amazing artist.
