I love pretty much every single candle from Queer Candle Co. I first found them at a queer apothecary in Western Mass and have been getting their candles for years! The smells are just specific but not overdone (rotate seasonally), long lasting, and have strong room radiation. I think scents can really support us in connecting with the seasons and through transitions of our day - they also have discovery packs if you want to try a variety!

This has been my favorite tea scented perfume / the Moroccan tea and bergamot and wild fig, made the perfume simultaneously fresh and sticky and delicious without being overly sweet! It was perfect for that season between spring + summer and for rainy days or museum visits or fun little lunches while you’re traveling in a new city and want to try on a new life I haven’t bought a new bottle since I finished it but I have not been able to forget this scent!

roses teach us important lessons: big hearts need clear boundaries! Roses are such a wonderful companion for when we are experiencing grief but also when we want to open ourselves up more to love of all kinds. this perfume has a way of expressing the rose smell that isn’t chalky or powdery (which is what I think can give that “rose is a grandma scent” idea - which I think is a silly trope and limiting us bc 1. Grandmas have great taste 2. Rose is amazing!) I think in the world of blending and layering perfumes is very popular, I like that lush still has perfumes that amplify a direct scent story

mmmm this candle is simultaneously sweet and floral without smelling artificial but also so warming and comforting and grounding. the smell also really radiates throughout a room! have been using consistently (anywhere between 3-5 hours at least 1-2 a week) for a month and still have wax left!
