Bike from Ventura to Ojai
•••
Start at the head of the Ventura River Trail and take it a few miles until you hit the Ojai Valley Trail, and ride till you hit downtown Ojai for an afternoon of eating/drinking/wandering. It’s about 15 miles one way and it is a slight incline BUT that means you coast all the way back to Ventura. Highly rec jumping in the ocean at the end!

Thrift stores overwhelm me, but they are heaven for @Haley Jo. So she goes an hour before, with my Pinterest board in hand, and pulls items that give her a Martha vibe. Then I arrive, try things on, and walk away with secondhand goods and zero overwhelm. Don’t worry, I buy her a matcha. It’s the perfect system.

If you're lucky enough to dial into a meeting and can get away with being off camera, then try taking it while on a walk. I did it and explored my neighborhood and my mood immediately was better after being outside for a little.
