Making Dinner With Your Friends

Not only does it save money, it’s an excellent bonding experience without the pressure of hosting a whole thing. Find a new recipe, scour both of your pantries, divvy up the remaining ingredients, and catch up while you whip up something yummy. @Haley Jo is on her way over right now, actually.

Figs on toast with tahini
•••
I think I saw Roya Shariat (buy her brilliant cookbook Maman and Me!) post this years ago, and now I look forward to making some every time fig season rolls around. Figs, tahini, flaky salt, a lil honey = the perfect toast.
