Woodland Wobble: My 3.5 year old daughter is home sick today and I just played Woodland Wobble and had so much fun. It’s like Jenga for kids and a great first game to teach the idea that it’s ok to pickup the pieces and start again. We had a lot of cute laughs and celebrations when we were able to balance the pieces which was my favorite part.

Mancala: A very peaceful and pretty game to play with kids as young as 5. The best part is its a game that allows for conversation to happen along side it, kind of like chatting in the car, an easy activity to learn a lot about what's on your kids mind.

Sound Slam: Like UNO but phonics. Actually fun for all players, and super helpful for early literacy.

Right-Left-Center: We played this game with the whole family, including 5 kids ages 4-12. It’s an easy dice game and keeps everyone engaged. Plus the winner gets a few dollars!

Making giant bubbles: We created our own giant wands and bubble potion and we've brought them to the park, beach, birthday parties, potlucks...

Instant fun for us parents who could always use more play, but also brings joy and awe and squeals to everyone nearby! My husband has perfected the recipe for the bubble potion. I'll have to see if he can share it.

Asmodee Just One Party Game (2025 Refresh): New game we picked up for the family a couple weeks ago. Kids (8 and 11) love it. One person guesses a word from clues everyone else writes down in secret. Simple to teach, fun for a wide age range, and it gets surprisingly funny fast.

Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza: very fun and a game you don't have to "play bad" at - my kids legitimately beat me most of the time. This is my main kids game criteria for it actually being fun - even playing field for all players!
