Incredible, ageless post-punk songs. My undying thanks to the friend who recommended their album Power Out to me in 2005 (?). Tilda Swinton's daughter in I Am Love is a fan, which I have to assume is a cosign from Luca Guadagnino.

I LIE HERE BURIED WITH MY RINGS AND MY DRESSES is a self-released album; it has a powerful arc and is worth listening to the whole object. Backxwash's work keeps growing and I'm excited to see where the work grows next.

My husband is so pleased that we saw MJ Lenderman open for Waxahatchee’s Plains project in the fall of 2022 before he got big. He quickly sold out that same venue when he was the headliner a couple of years later.

My friends Josh & Austin discovered him, told me about him, and I put him in a campaign I was shooting at the time. This is him on set. He would perform at SX for the first time the next day and take off from there. He deserves it all, pure talent from the jump!

Saw these guys VERY early on in their careers and was blown away. A musical power trio with some of my favorite songs ever.
