A joyous experience, the exact opposite of sitting on your phone doom scrolling alone. If you are in North Carolina, get thee to a PopUp Chorus event. Some are broadway, and some are other music (Prince, Tom Petty, Dua Lipa, etc). From their website: Ask yourself these questions. Do you like to sing? Have you thought about joining a chorus but are too busy to commit? Do you sing in the shower or in your car? Did you sing in college or school but don’t have an opportunity to now? Do you want to be in a giant band? If you answered "yes", then you belong in PopUp Chorus!

I have only ever seen it noted as closed, but if they ever open, I'm gonna check them out. This is on Erwin Road, on the border of Chapel Hill and Durham.

The Best BLT Sandwich You Will Likely Ever Eat

1) Hesitant to share because this place is always crowded 2) They have other food but order the BLT. A single or a double. They have a triple too but that actually could be overkill. 3) No idea what magic they have in their tomatoes, but somehow, even in winter, the tomatoes are juicy and flavorful and taste like summer tomatoes. 4) Pro tip: order online in advance and then pick up the food and eat there in their bamboo paradise.
