“When my husband and I were recently trying to decide if we should make another out-of-state move, we made a list of the things we value about a place to live: walkability, diversity, great food scene, etc. Then we went down the value list and gave each place we were considering a score out of 5 for each value. Then we tallied up the scores. It was a surprisingly impactful way to see which decision aligned more with our values. All this to say, it worked because we're moving next week! (Linked is a popular list of values from Brené Brown which are a great starting point depending on what the decision is)”
