Ingrid BackstromFirst to rec“Chances are if you're into books, rom-coms, or women's fiction, you probably have already read this one--after all, 320k 5-star reviews can't be wrong! But just in case you haven't, this is a fun, smart, and feminist read with just enough of a love interest to keep it in my rom-com category, although it's more literary fiction than most of my pics. So, smart and good. You're welcome.”

Spines, Flicks, and Wax“Oh, I don't think I'll ever forget the character of Ms. Elizabeth Zott. Like a mix of Marie Curie, Julia Child, and Gloria Steinem. An uplifting novel that highlights the rewards of resilience, particularly when the odds don't seem in your favor. I know that's super vague but, once you dive in, the tone alone in this novel should keep you glued to the end!”

Andrea“A stunning novel for all women and anyone who cares about women. Elizabeth Zott is a force, and their dog is sometimes the narrator💘 It’s long but stick with it, it’s got one of my favorite endings.”
