“Since 1937! Opening a candy store during the Great Depression must have been great for morale. On my most recent visit I made multiple purchases. candy cigarettes (business), Reggie bar & imported Haribo Smurfs (pleasure), salty Dutch licorice (for my dad). They have it all!!! Economy Candy must stay open forever!”

“The neighborhood's family-owned candy HQ since 1937, and my haunt since I realized they have an incomparable selection of imported vegan Haribo (it's all about the Super Gurken; weird texture but the flavors are on point) and about two dozen varieties of Katjes gummis (you want the Alpaka Cola). Old-school everything in abundance, and a pretty spectacular array of Kolsvart Swedish fish, too. VEGGIE GUMMIES AND SOURS FOR EVERYBODY.”
