“Classics with a twist Jewish inspired bakery from chef Zoe Kanan in the heart of Dimes Square -- (I've given in to accepting this location description!)”

“My final mention of the Court Street Grocers empire is Elbow Bread, the Lower East Side bakery they opened in collaboration with baker Zoë Kanan. I’ve tried several pastries from Elbow — many with Jewish influences, including babka knots, challah buns, and rugelach — and have been impressed every time. My Big Night coworker Eva also recently raved about the EBBB, a sandwich on sourdough black bread with crispy walnut butter, cream cheese, and dates. Must try.”

“Zoe Kanan's baked goods are legendary and she finally has a home of her own to showcase them...Jew-ish inspired, seasonal, utterly delicious. Go there.”
