There’s so much tennis, and it’s so wonderful and summery. If you’re me, this will eventually lead to watching juniors doubles and events that barely count as the tours. I’m not mad at it.”

Brigid“Forget flight, fright, and freeze. Opt into the panic response of watching tennis. I have been a Tennis Channel subscriber for 15 years, so I have honed this response BEAUTIFULLY. Sometimes, it can be successfully replaced by playing tennis, but I got turf toe in July. So I've been sidelined. And moving! And not coping well with some other neutral changes! I'm feeling better both mentally and physically, but that development aligns with my need to watch every 1000 tournament and Slam in its entirety. It's fine. I love watching tennis like it's my full-time job. Usually on silent while actually doing my job. Job is background. Let me know if this heals you, too.”
